Classic PCR Amplifiers
Classic thermal cyclers (end-point PCR) for standard polymerase chain reaction. They are used to amplify DNA fragments prior to electrophoresis, cloning, sequencing (Sanger and NGS), restriction analysis and other downstream protocols. Gradient models make it possible to optimize the primer annealing temperature in a single run. Modern thermal cyclers deliver fast thermal cycling (up to 6 °C/s), precise temperature distribution across the block (± 0.2 °C) and convenient programming via touchscreen or network interface. They are used in research, clinical (pre-analytics for sequencing), forensic and agricultural laboratories.
