Real-Time PCR Amplifiers
Real-time thermal cyclers (qPCR) are the gold standard of molecular diagnostics. Fluorescence detection in every amplification cycle makes it possible to quantify the initial amount of target and to perform relative (ΔΔCt) or absolute quantification. Applications include infectious disease diagnostics (COVID-19, HIV, HBV/HCV, TB, HPV), oncology (EGFR, KRAS, BRAF mutations, BCR-ABL monitoring), genetics (SNP genotyping, pharmacogenetics), veterinary medicine, food safety (GMO, pathogens), environmental testing and forensics. Modern instruments support multiplex analysis of up to 6 targets simultaneously, High Resolution Melting (HRM) for mutation analysis, 96- and 384-well formats, cloud-based analysis and validated clinical protocols.
